Tim discusses his research on how depression patients remember their past in a negative manner and how they have trouble generating specific memories. Tim also discusses how systematically practicing the recall of specific memories from the past can help alleviate depression symptoms.

Tim received the 2013 Presidents’ Award For Distinguished Contributions To Psychological Knowledge.
