Better Brain, Better Game!

Terri Williams, author of “Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We’re Not Hurting,” discusses her experience with clinical depression and stigma around mental health issues with reporter Cindy Rodriguez. This event took place on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Schomburg Center for Research into Black Culture in New York City.

The Vera Institute of Justice is a nonprofit that has worked for more than five decades to transform justice systems. Vera produces ideas, analysis and research that inspire change in the systems people rely upon for safety and justice, and works in close partnership with government and civic leaders to implement it.
