What are the indicators for depression?

Although the signs and symptoms of depression can vary from person to person, the main symptoms are the same. Depression can cause someone to feel depressed, sad, and disinterested in the things that they love. Depression symptoms can be severe and can impact your daily life for weeks, months or even years. If you suspect you may be suffering from depression, it is important that you seek medical attention. Psychotherapy or antidepressants could be used to treat depression. A mental health professional can help you determine if you are suffering from depression.
